Cork Midsummer Festival & Creative Parks, as part of Cruinniú na nÓg

Cork Puppetry Company & Outlaw Studios

“On earth, one sees all kinds of things.”  The Little Prince

Aliens are landing in Cork and it’s up to you to discover their whereabouts by using the star map!

As part of Cork Midsummer Festival and Cruinniú na nÓg, extra-terrestrials will be visiting Gerry O’Sullivan Park on St Colmcille's Road, Cork from12- 27 June 2021. Children and parents are invited to download our star map, inspired by the story of The Little Prince, and follow the clues around the park.

Additionally, the Cork Puppetry Company has also created a guide to making your very own spaceship at home, using everyday materials such as cardboard, masking tape, paints, and markers!

You can download the Star Map and Spaceship Guide using the links below. Both activities are free of charge and are best suited for 5-12 year-olds supervised by an adult.

Supported by Cork City Council and Creative Ireland.

Cruinniú na nÓg is an initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme at the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and is presented in partnership with RTÉ and the Local Authorities.
